Fernando Huguett joined IMMARTIAL’s team in April 2019. Fernando is IMMARTIAL’ head BJJ coach and become a blackbelt in December 2023 under Professor Don Whitefield 4th Degree Black belt under De La Riva.
IMMARTIAL – Athlete Centre is a home for all athletes and of course Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu could not be missed, as it is one of worlds fastest growing sport. Fernando Huguett started training Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu in 2013 in Amsterdam, The Netherlands at team UCT. During this time, he attended many seminars with world class BJJ athletes (Clark Gracie, Braulio Stima, Marcelo Garcia, Jeremy Fields, etc) which helped his development.
In 2016, he moved to Curacao where he continued training as a blue belt under the guidance of team Medina Grappling. In 2023 he had the great surprise of being promoted as a black belt from Professor Don Whitefield and he remains focusing on elevating his BJJ techniques and sharing the knowledge to spread the sport and he started doing that at IMMARTIAL.
Fernando is currently a purple belt.

Since 2016 Fernando is also training at Medina Grappling under guidance of Black Belt sensei Chris Tjon.
